Throughout my four years of high school I have participated in two different sports. These sports include the school's soccer team and the cross country team. Soccer comes every year in the winter and I have been a part of the team since my freshmen year. Throughout those years I have made lots of friends and have become a better player and runner than I was before. Most importantly I have met a group friends that I can trust and truly call my brothers. They have been here since the start and I know they will always be here for me. During both seasons me and my brother trained, played, and stood by each other supporting one another. Not only am I grateful for my friends but also for my older brother who has always been there to help me progress in both the field and in school.
Not only was I involved in sports, but I was part of both the French Honors Society and French Club. French has been a big part of the years I've been in high school because it is a third language I can speak and it introduced me to Mr. Doumbia. He was the boys varsity soccer coach who believed in my skill and gave me advice on how to improve my soccer skills. Not only that, Mr. Doumbia was also my french teacher who helped me finish my french classes faster than I expected. I started the french classes my freshman year, but unfortunately my junior year I was not enrolled in French 3. Thanks to my counselor I was enrolled in French 3 this year and I am close to finishing it.
